Nuwara Eliya F.B.O.P. Black Tea, 150g, in a Wooden Box
Tea from Sri Lanka is a globally beloved brand known as "Ceylon Tea."
Nuwara Eliya and Uva are both names of tea-producing regions.
Both are internationally famous as renowned tea-producing areas.
"Nuwara Eliya" is harvested in the Sri Lankan resort town of Nuwara Eliya,
and is a high-quality, premium tea leaf processed into black tea.
As indicated by FBOP, the tip buds of the parent branch leaves are used.
The bright-colored tea leaves occasionally visible among the black tea leaves are the fragrant new buds.
Due to light fermentation and low astringency, it has a green tea-like aroma.
This tea is particularly easy for Japanese people to enjoy,
so it is recommended to drink it as a straight tea.
The notations [F.B.OP] and [B.OP] refer to the part of the tea leaf and its cutting.
Their meanings are as follows:
F…Flowery (new bud part)
B…Broken (cut)
OP…Orange Pekoe (the young leaf directly below the bud, the second from the top).
[Country of origin] Sri Lanka
[Best before] 2 years from manufacture (indicated on the packaging)
