Curry Plate [Tuna Paha Original]
Mitsuse Pass is located on the border between Fukuoka City and Saga Prefecture.
We commissioned ceramic artist Taro Kawamoto, who has a kiln in Kobadake, Fuji-cho, Saga Prefecture,
to custom-make plates for serving dishes at Tsunapaha and Nuwara Eliya.
These are ceramic plates.
They are stark white, with a substantial thickness and weight, yet feature the warm texture characteristic of Mr. Kawamoto's works.
Though difficult to see on the back,
they are engraved with the store logo of "Fushigi Kousai Tsunapaha."
We use them in our restaurant for serving curry,
but due to their depth, they can also be used for stews and soups.
These white plates make the vibrant colors of your food pop and never go out of style.
With a diameter of nearly 30 cm, they make a perfect statement piece on any dining table!
From a main dish plate to an everyday single-serving dish,
these plates will become your favorite tableware for daily use.
Size: 27cm x Height: 5cm, Depth of central depression: 3cm
Microwave: OK, Oven: Not confirmed, Hand washing recommended

*As each ceramic piece is handmade, there may be slight differences in size and thickness,
wobbling, distortion, or air bubbles due to the nature of the material.
*Both the front and back of the plates may have
scratches incurred during shipping.
*The Tsunapaha store name logo on the back may be faded or difficult to see,
but this is a characteristic of handmade ceramics.
The above points are not considered defects.
